To celebrate the Scorpio time of the year, we will look in to the horror genre and related topics. What is it that fascinates many in horror? Does it draw you? Why?

We will look at several factors that might apply. As always, bring your natal horoscope!

The program will be presented by Lalia Wilson, the author of numerous articles, an astrology blog, a newsletter and astrologer to hundreds of people.

We started in August by looking at the background for European Civilization, and European Kings. Now we move to the United Kingdom to look more specifically at the charts of the Longest and Shortest Reigning English Monarchs: Queen Victoria, King George III, Queen Elizabeth III, Kings Edward V, Edward VI, Edward VIII, and Lady Jane Grey.

These are important for many reasons. They represent the cultural heritage from which came the United States. They specifically represent the heritage of most people in the greater Knoxville area. However the astrology is also important. What patterns make for a long reigning sovereign? A short reign? If you have that pattern, what does it mean today?

We actually discovered in August that there were chart patterns that originated with Charlemagne's birth and his coronation many years later, and showed up in William the Conqueror and with his coronation in 1066.

I bet you will be able to find some of that pattern in these kings.

There are several ways to sort the planets. Most commonly they are sorted as Personal Planets, Social Planets, and Transcendent Planets. But, we will look at them in a new way. The three planets of Truth; the three planets of Love; and the three planets of Power. Using this information about the planets, and the fact that each is arrayed as Primitive, Mature and Enlightened aspects of its quality, we can zero in on major issues within a person and in relationships.

We will look at charts of some people renown for their wealth, as well as look at everyday charts like those of the participants. Bring your own chart!

Join us on Sunday, April 19th, for an astrological view of relationships. This topic could go on for years, so we are beginning with the beginning—the Ascendant! The meeting begins at 3:30 and goes until 5. Bring your astrology notebook and charts.

This session will be led by Lalia Wilson. Based upon many years of astrology counseling, teaching and lecturing, Lalia will present some of the basics to understanding relationships. It’s a big subject, but you will have a major breakthrough in why you attract the people you attract, and why you seem to go through the same dance each time! You will want to bring your own chart and the charts of any important people in your life. You especially want to bring timed charts for individuals who seemed to have very positive or very negative relationships with you. You will go home with new tools and a new understanding of how you operate in relationships.

AAET now charges $2 per meeting or an annual $15 dues (pay $15 now gives membership through Dec 2009) to cover organizational costs. If you wish to attend both meetings on this date, $3 will cover both back-to-back meetings. Money will be collected at the meeting.
